European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In 2003 LEGO dismissed around 250 employees in Billund, DK. March 2004 the toy factory announced a redundancy of 500 employees at global level, hereof one third in Denmark. The redundancies will take place over a period of two years. However, 100 dismissals will have immediate effect.
