Description

The closure of the nuclear plant of Cadarache is due to the high risk of accident in case of heartquake. The plant could not be able to resist a degree "8 " heartquake.

On the 306 workers, 66 should be relocated to another plan in Marcoule (Languedoc-Roussillon) and 100 should be transfered to other units of the Group.

140 workers will still work at Cadarache untill 2006 in order to prepare the slow closure of the plan. The dismantling is planned for 2010.
