European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The manufacturer of railway carriages, Talgo, has started on 17 June 2003 cooperation talks in order to cut 200 jobs. The number of personnel will be adjusted to meet the present demand. The whole future of the Finnish railway carriage industry is feared to be at stake in case new orders will not appear.
