The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
February 2003. Among other things, restructuring measures Group-wide have enabled the workforce to be reduced by almost 800 full time equivalents, largely through natural wastage, and workspace to be reduced by approximately 30,000 square metres. January 2004. SNT intends to reduce the number of indirect (staff and management) jobs in the Netherlands by 215. Jobs will be shed at the head office in Zoetermeer and some staff jobs in the national branches. Most of the jobs will be lost by merging activities or by ending overcapacity. A limited number of jobs will also be lost through outsourcing. SNT is discussing with unions and company council concerning the corresponding social plan.
