European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The textile company Decantconfex announced its closure due to the lack of work. The measure will affect 220 workers, in majority women with 50 years of age. The 220 workers of the Decantconfex company demand the payment of the Christmas subsidy and the days worked in January. The company exists in Portugal for 30 years.
