European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
France Télécom announced a new Europe wide restructuring plan affecting 14,500 jobs during 2004. In France, 8,800 jobs will be affected. On the other hand, 1,400 job creations are announced in France. In Poland, 6,000 jobs are to be affected.
