European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In the frame of its restructuring plan Casema does an important reduction of its investments and concentrates on its core activities. Between 120 and 150 jobs have to be shed. Already 300 jobs were lost last year (2001).
December 2003, Casema announced the suppression of 80 jobs to face the competition with KPN. A social plan is foreseen for the 50 direct dismissals.
