Description

This cost alignment plan mainly involves the Company's operations in Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Mexico, with a total headcount reduction of 1,400 employees. The headcount reduction plan will be finalised before June 2003, and is in addition to the 1,450 headcount reduction already carried out at the end of 2001.
