Kockums will cut 210 jobs in Karlskrona. 130 workers and 80 administrative employees will be affected by this redundancy plan, which is partly due to the decision of the Swedish Marine not to purchase the vessels on which it had an option. Further dismissals will not be carried out in the near future provided no unpredictable event arises. According to the information manager, there are still growing markets, i.e. the United States, and reasons not to sound too negative.
