European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The medical company, Lundbeck, dismissed 200 workers, of which 170 are in Valby, Copenhagen. Lundbeck has subsidiaries in many countries. The redundancies in Valby is due to massive investments in a new modern production plant in England.
