European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As an result of the co-operation talks Wärtsilä will lay off 350 employees in order to adapt the capacity to meet the production volume. The lay offs will start in mid October and they will be carried out during the autumn and in the beginning of 2003.
