Description

Ackers, manufacturer of rolling mill cylinder, decided to close its site of Seraing. The company, contrary to the very similar LBP case, will follow the ‘Renault’ legislation on collective redundancy. The rise in raw material price combined with the fall of final product price and the loss of orders from Arcelor have caused this closure. The group has many production centres in Europe, where it employs 1,600 people.
