European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
France Télécom, the French historical telecommunications company, has initiated a worldwide restructuring programme that will affect 13,000 workers worldwide. In France, there will be 7,500 redundancies: 4,100 early retirements and 3,400 direct dismissals.
