European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
PSA Peugeot Citroën will recruit 7,000 employees during 2004. In 2003 the group hired 4,400 people. These recruitment initiatives will compensate the pre-retirement schemes begun in 1999, and prepare the company to reach its sales objective of 4 million cars per year in 2006. In the UK, the group has recently cut 600 jobs in Ryton.
