European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Fazer Bakery has started co-operation talks in order to cut about 200 jobs. The company motivates the need for redundancies by: big investments in production tehcnology decrease the need of labour force; increased competition due to import; restructuring of retail sale.
