European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
CG services has gone into voluntary liquidation. It operated electrical contracting services and process instrumentation for manufacturing firms. The company attributed the closure to the global downturn and increased competition. The union at the plant, the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union (TEEU) suggested that all the workers are highly skilled.
