Description
Gigaset is a German manufacturer of fixed and mobile phones whose production had been offshored in China. During the 2018, the company decided to launch a new smartphone device whose assembling will be performed in a company's plant located at Bocholt (Germany) while components will still be sourced from Asian suppliers. The German facility is highly automated so defects are highly reduced and overall production costs result similar to those in China. Finally, it is worth noting that the German facility will be in charge to design new devices and adapt them to costumers' special requirements.
