Description

SeaBird Designs is a Norvegian company founded in 2006 that offers kajak. Until 2016, the  company production has been offshored  in its plant in China; however, it experienced several quality concerns. Therefore, in 2017, it relocated manufacturing activities in a new highly automated plant in Østfold (Norway). In addition to solving quality problem, the backshoring decision permitted to improve production efficiency of production and to increase customer proximity.
