Description
Orientis Group is a family-owned company producing high-end delicatessen and tea (sold with the brand Kusmi Tea); currently it employs more than 500 people. The packaging activities of the tea product line were offshored to Morocco, where the bulk product was sent by France. Since the 2014, the company has invested more than 3 million euro in its French site in Havre to automate production lines. By the end of 2017, the reshoring strategy was completed, and all the tea packaging activities were relocated in France. This decision improved the company flexibility and its responsiveness to market, and decreased the transport costs.
