European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Körber Pharma Software GmbH, a German software provider for the pharmaceutical industry, announced plans to cut 170 positions across Germany, including 120 at its site in Lüneburg.
The company will implement the job cuts as part of a transformation of its software business. The restructuring aims to align the company’s portfolio with modern software solutions and adapt its organisation to changing customer and market demands. The cuts are intended to preserve the long-term competitiveness of the Lüneburg site.
In addition to direct job losses, the company has introduced options for internal transfers within the group, a voluntary programme and phased retirement.
Körber Pharma Software employs around 450 people in Germany and 13,000 worldwide.
