Description
The Hungarian subsidiary of Irish conglomerate Eaton will expand its production capacities with new fuse and fuse box production lines at its Győr production site. The expansion will create approximately 150 new jobs in the coming years.
The investment is a response to the growing demand for data centres and the related electrical infrastructure, including defence solutions. The company will recruit new employees along with the ramping up of production. The new production lines are set to start operating in the first quarter of 2027. Further expansion is expected in the second half of the same year. The introduction of new products will create development and training opportunities for existing and future employees.
According to the director of the Győr plant, the investment will cement the position of the production site in the conglomerate.
