Description
Félegyházi Pékség Kft., a Hungarian bakery products manufacturer, has officially inaugurated its new production hall in Kiskunfélegyháza, in the Southern Great Plain region. The expansion will create a total of 200 jobs, covering roles in production, logistics, and technical support. The new production facility is already operating at 40% capacity and is expected to reach full capacity by mid-2027. As a result of the investment, the firm's capacity to produce frozen baked goods will double.
The investment cost amounted to €30 million, 45% of which was funded by the Hungarian government, with co-financing from EU funds.
The expansion has enabled the company to start exporting, primarily to the neighbouring countries. The company now employs 1,800 people but number of employees is expected to reach 2,000 as a result of the investment.
