Description
Lindenfarb Textilveredelung GmbH, a German textile finishing company based in Unterkochen, Aalen, Baden-Württemberg, will cease operations by the end of October 2026.
Following its fourth insolvency, the company was unable to secure a new investor, resulting in the loss of around 100 jobs.
Despite attempts to modernize the business, its financial difficulties could not be overcome.
A representative of the IG Metall trade union expressed disappointment over the lack of political support for the employees.
Lindenfarb produced textiles for the automotive, medical technology and construction industries and employed around 100 employees. The closure marks the end of more than seven decades of textile production in Unterkochen.
