Description
IKEA, a Swedish furniture retailer, announced that up to 20 percent of the positions at its City store on Große Bergstraße in the Altona district of Hamburg will be eliminated.
The company said the restructuring is part of an adjustment to the organisation and staffing structure at the Hamburg location.
The changes are also part of a downsizing of the store, with some of the retail space being handed over to another retailer.
The company employs around 300 people at its Hamburg-Altona location.
