Description
OPmobility, a French automotive parts supplier, announced the elimination of 310 positions in France as part of its strategic review. Most of the positions eliminated relate to research and development, with 40 roles cut from production lines.
The cuts target research and development and production activities at Venette (Oise), Labège (Haute-Garonne) and Flers-en-Escrebieux (Nord).
The restructuring is driven by a need to align production capacity with evolving automotive trends and to sharpen operational focus. Also reduced activity of key European customers, and delays in the hydrogen market, is prompting OP Mobility to realign production capacity and research focus.
OPmobility employs around 38,100 staff worldwide as of 2025.
