Description
Autokeskus, a Finnish automobile retail and service chain, announced that up to 48 technical-service employees are at risk of dismissal as part of an internal restructuring. Cooperation negotiations began on 28 September 2026 and remained ongoing when the announcement was reported on the 13th of October.
The restructuring follows a decline in demand for workshop services, which the company attributes to weaker new-car sales. Autokeskus intends to adjust its service capacity to the reduced demand.
The company, owned by Aro-Yhtymä, employs approximately 470 people across eight locations in southern Finland.
