Description

BWG Foods, an Irish quick service restaurant group, announced the opening of four new foodservice locations across Ireland, creating 100 jobs. These comprise an outlet at Citywest Shopping Centre in Dublin, two cafés in Carlow Town and Smithfield in Dublin, and a site in Limerick City.

The expansion forms part of its broader growth strategy to add 25 new franchises by 2030. It follows BWG’s acquisition of the O’Briens Café, Abrakebabra, Bagel Factory and Oasis of Taste brands earlier this summer, adding a portfolio of 72 locations to its existing network of over 1,000 convenience stores.

The openings will provide employment in both urban centres and regional towns. The wider franchised network currently employs more than 1,200 people nationwide.
