European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ÖBB, an Austrian railway operator, has opened a new maintenance and service hall for its double-decker Cityjet and Railjet trains in Vienna’s Floridsdorf district.
The facility on Angerer Straße will employ about 150 workers and became fully operational on 10 September 2026.
The €100 million investment modernises ÖBB’s fleet maintenance, ensuring high reliability for the growing double-decker service in the eastern region and strengthening Vienna’s transport infrastructure.
