European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Veolia Energia S.A., a French-owned energy and district heating company operating in Poland, announced a restructuring affecting 595 employees in the Mazowieckie region, primarily in Warsaw. The job reductions were notified to the Regional Labour Office in Warsaw and are scheduled to be implemented by the end of September 2026.
Separately, Veolia Energia Łódź stated that notices issued to employees relate to changes in employment terms under a group-wide job evaluation system rather than planned redundancies. The company indicated that the process is being implemented in consultation with employee representatives, although employees rejecting the new terms may ultimately leave the company.
