Description
Hultafors Group, owned by Swedish investment company Latour, announced on 27 June 2025 that it had agreed to acquire machinery from Spectre Latvia to expand production for its Snickers Workwear brand. The investment would establish a specialised production facility and a research and development hub focused on material optimisation, sustainable sourcing and small-batch production, with plans to recruit up to 120 local employees.
The company said the investment would strengthen expertise and production capacity near its European markets, reduce lead times and improve quality. Completion was scheduled for August 2025.
