European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Kommunalverkehr Rhein-Nahe (KRN), a German public-transport operator in Rhineland-Palatinate, announced the construction of its first dedicated electric-bus depot in Wörrstadt, creating 120 new jobs in public transport.
The new facility will accommodate up to 50 electric buses, provide charging infrastructure, maintenance workshops, washing facilities, parking areas and office space.
According to the company, the investment will support the expansion of sustainable public transport services and strengthen electric mobility in the region.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of April 2027.
The company has around 400 employees.
