Description

Wolf, a Bavarian food manufacturer of sausages and processed foods, has announced the loss of 120 jobs at its two production sites in Schwandorf and Schmölln.

The job cuts have been triggered by a decline in order volumes by its major customer, Netto Marken-Discount. The company considers the layoffs necessary to maintain its financial stability.

The food company employs 1,600 staff across its three plants. The plants in Schwandorf and Schmölln are affected by the layoffs, while the Nuremberg plant will not be affected.
