Description
TÜV Rheinland AG, a German testing, inspection and certification company, announced the creation of 1,200 new jobs in 2026 through the expansion of its laboratory network and recent acquisitions across Europe and Asia. The 400 positions are concentrated in Troisdorf near Cologne (Germany) and the remaining staff will be recruited for the facilities in Milan (Italy), in the Taicang and Shenzhen labs in China and a new lab in Delhi (India).
The expansion is driven by investments in digital technologies, such as AI-management system certifications, and green initiatives like battery storage testing and solar panel certification. These developments reinforce TÜV Rheinland’s position as a leading provider of sustainable technology solutions.
With 28,550 employees worldwide, the company continues to grow its global footprint while strengthening its expertise in digitalization and sustainability.
