European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
StarLinx Aero, a Polish aerospace recycling company, announced the creation of about 200 new jobs at a modern aircraft dismantling and parts recovery centre to be built in Mielec airport’s new hangar.
The expansion will add a specialised disassembly facility to its operations, reinforcing its role in the global used-aircraft-parts market.The move is driven by growth ambitions and a commitment to greener practices, as the plant will employ advanced technologies for safe material recovery and ecological treatment of technical fluids. It also marks a relocation of key operational processes from the company’s Jasionki hub to Mielec, further consolidating its regional footprint.
The agreement reached on 23 August 2026 sets the project in motion and is expected to start recruiting in the coming months, with full operational capacity to be achieved shortly thereafter.
