European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BSH, a German household appliances manufacturer, opened a new small appliances factory in Rudna Wielka near Rzeszów, Poland, in June 2026. The 600 million investment consolidates operations at a 73,000 m² site and will create around 1,000 jobs in the region.
Production was transferred from a nearby existing site to the new factory. The restructuring is part of BSH’s expansion strategy and aims to improve efficiency by bringing production, warehousing, and office functions together in one modern facility. The facility will manufacture Bosch vacuum cleaners, Tassimo coffee machines, and from 2027, Siemens automatic coffee machines.
Local and regional authorities supported the investment and highlighted its economic benefits. BSH employs nearly 8,000 people in Poland.
