Description
Aljo, a German manufacturer of lightweight engineering and metal solutions for the aerospace, defence, marine and automotive industries, has announced plans to expand its workforce in Berne by 400 employees by the end of 2032.
The expansion reflects the company's long-term growth ambitions. The increase in headcount is being driven by anticipated demand for advanced manufacturing solutions and the planned scaling of production capacity.
As part of the transaction, PHI Industrial will become a new shareholder, providing support for Aljo's strategic growth plans and investment programme.
The company currently employs around 300 people. Following the expansion, Aljo expects its workforce to grow to approximately 700 employees.
