European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Appel Médical, a subsidiary of Randstad France, will create around 800 permanent positions in the medical and paramedical sectors. They will be recruiting professionals such as nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, doctors, pharmacists and support staff. This recruitment drive addresses the persistent difficulties in filling vacancies in the healthcare sector and aims to alleviate shortages of nursing staff and staff in certain medical specialities nationwide.
In total, the recruitment agency has announced the creation of 5,220 jobs in total, considering temporary positions.
The posts are spread across all French regions, with the highest numbers in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (900) and Occitanie (800). The remaining posts are distributed across the PACA region and Corsica (570 in total), Île-de-France (550), Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (500), Brittany (460), Grand Est (440) and Pays de la Loire (400). Hauts-de-France and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté each have 300 posts, compared with 280 in Normandy.
