Description

Applegreen, an Irish roadside retailer specialising in fuel and convenience services, announced the creation of 150 new jobs with a €15m service area and electric-vehicle hub on the M7 at Junction 9 near Naas, Co Kildare. Recruitment is under way and the site is due to open by the end of 2026.

The facility, featuring fast charging points, a truck stop, car wash and branded food outlets, is part of a wider investment programme aimed at expanding the company’s EV infrastructure and enhancing roadside hospitality across Ireland.

Last year Applegreen opened a service station in county Meath creating 100 new jobs. Applegreen 2025 IE
