Description
H&MV Engineering, an Irish high-voltage engineering and critical power infrastructure specialist, announced plans in August 2026 to recruit 1,100 employees globally over five years. More than half of the new recruits, representing more than 550 positions, will be based in Ireland, supporting international projects through engineering design and project delivery.
The expansion is driven by demand for power infrastructure serving AI and data centres, battery storage, renewable energy and electricity networks. An approximately €750 million investment vehicle led by existing investor Exponent, alongside Apollo S3, Pantheon and SQ Capital, will support international recruitment, additional engineering capabilities and strategic acquisitions.
H&MV employs approximately 1,900 people across 20 international offices and aims to increase its global workforce to 3,000. Its international expansion includes a North American headquarters in Dallas.
