Description
Azur DataCenter, a French company specialising in liquid and immersion cooling technologies and a subsidiary of the French deeptech company Arago Technologie, aims to create around 100 jobs in Champagnier (Isère) by the end of 2026. While the hiring process should be starting 2 months before deadline.
The company plans to to set up a high-density data centre on the industrial site currently occupied by Hydrogen Refuelling Solutions (HRS).
The property transaction will take the form of a sale and leaseback, enabling HRS to continue using the site as part of the transaction, while Azur DataCenter invests in refurbishing the site and installing the infrastructure required to operate the data centre.
Despite the signing of the preliminary sale agreement, the project is still subject to authorisation. Specifically, that concerning the environmental protection.
