Description

IBIH Advanced Materials, a Chinese manufacturer of advanced battery materials, opened its first Slovak plant in Trnava. The factory is located in CTPark Trnava and aims to employ 100 to 120 people in total once fully operational, of which around 60 positions have already been filled.

The expansion is driven by growing demand for electric-vehicle components and the company's investment of €10 million into the site, positioning it as a supplier of thermal-insulation and fire-protection pads for EV batteries in Europe.

All new jobs are being created at the Trnava location. The plant currently employs around 60 workers, roughly half of the planned 100–120 total, with the remaining positions expected to be filled as production ramps up toward full capacity.
