Description

Auchan România, a French retailer, is creating 160 jobs in two new stores in Bucharest – a hypermarket and a supermarket – as part of its strategy to expand beyond 500 shops across Romania.

The openings target rising demand for quick, convenient shopping in central and northern districts of the capital, reinforcing Auchan’s position amid fierce competition. While digital services such as Auchan Go exist elsewhere, these stores focus on retail and security roles rather than automated or green initiatives.

All hiring takes place within Bucharest, with 120 positions for the hypermarket and 40 for the supermarket. In Romania, Auchan has a workforce of 7,000 persons.
