European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Novartis, the Swiss pharmaceutical company, has opened a new aseptic products facility in Ljubljana, creating 121 new jobs.
Novartis has invested €200 million in a facility for manufacturing and packaging aseptic medicines, mainly in liquid form, which are filled into syringes or vials during production. The company plans to create 121 new jobs at the Ljubljana facility.
The opening is part of Novartis’ €600 million investment across multiple sites in Slovenia, focusing on constructing development and production facilities and introducing new technologies.
