Description
Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, a Polish defence contractor, announced the creation of about 200 highly skilled jobs at its new artillery ammunition manufacturing facility in Poland.
The expansion is part of a partnership with BAE Systems that will transfer advanced technology and boost Poland’s production capacity for 155mm shells to between 150,000 and 180,000 annually. The UK Government is also involved in supporting the broader defence industrial cooperation between the two countries.
Work on the plant began this year and is expected to be completed by December 2028, supporting NATO’s eastern flank and enhancing Poland’s industrial base through green and digital innovation.
