Description
The Center for the Transformation of Chemistry (CTC), a German research initiative in the chemical sector, is expected to create up to 1,000 jobs. The majority, around 700 positions, will be located at its main site in Delitzsch, with approximately 300 additional roles at the Merseburg site. Recruitment has already begun, with 70 employees currently working at the CTC, and the organisation is expected to reach its target workforce size by 2038.
The Center for the Transformation of Chemistry (CTC) aims to drive the transformation of the chemical industry towards a sustainable circular economy. From 2027, the CTC plans to train its own specialists, with recruitment for chemistry laboratory technician apprenticeships expected to begin in late 2026. Further training programmes in IT and office administration may follow at a later stage. Current employees work across scientific and administrative functions.
