Description

Jelcz, a Polish manufacturer of military trucks belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, announced an expansion of production in Racibórz based on assets of the former Rafako plant. The investment is expected to create more than 500 jobs at the Racibórz site, where recruitment has already started. The project is linked to the planned merger of Jelcz with RFK, with Jelcz as the acquiring company.

The expansion aims to increase production capacity for military trucks and specialist chassis used by the Polish Armed Forces, including platforms for missile and radar systems under the Narew programme. Jelcz will use three production halls, while other former Rafako halls will support Rosomak and the SAN anti-drone system project.
