Description
Airbus, the European aerospace group, announced the creation of a new engineering centre for commercial aircraft in Kraków. The centre is planned to start operations in the fourth quarter of 2026, with recruitment already underway. The investment is part of Airbus’ strategy to increase employment in Poland from around 950 to 1,500 employees by 2030.
The Kraków centre will be integrated into Airbus Commercial Aircraft’s global structures and will work on engineering tasks including design, structural analysis, modelling, testing and certification. The investment is intended to strengthen Airbus’ engineering capabilities in Poland and deepen cooperation with Polish universities, research centres, start-ups and supply-chain partners.
