Description

Schwarz Digits, a subsidiary of the Schwarz Group, is set to open its new technology campus in Bad Friedrichshall on 21 July 2026. The project stems from a long-term investment programme that started with the launch of construction in 2021 and the completion of the first phase in 2026.

The new site will create approximately 3,500 jobs for employees, who will work on cloud computing and cybersecurity solutions for businesses and public-sector institutions. Recruitment for the campus is expected to be completed by the opening date.

The expansion reflects the Group's strategy to strengthen its digital capabilities and compete with global technology companies through the development of sovereign AI and cloud infrastructure. The investment is being driven by a commitment to digital transformation, supported by substantial spending on cloud services, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The Schwarz Group employs approximately 604,000 people worldwide.
