Description
El Corte Inglés, a Spanish retail conglomerate, is creating 223 new jobs by fully reopening its Mijas centre in Málaga. The expansion increases the store’s commercial floor from 14 500 to more than 22 000 square metres, raising on-site employment above 500 workers.
The move follows a strategic shift that prioritises growth, where investments of more than €3 billion will support new stores and online channels, with technology upgrades aimed at improving the shopping experience and boosting digital sales. The full re-opening will be ready before Christmas.
