Description
Daiichi Sankyo, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, announced the creation of at least 350 new jobs as part of a €1 billion investment to expand its oncology manufacturing facility in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Bavaria. The expansion is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2030.
The investment is driven by the need to strengthen global supply chains for complex cancer therapies and to establish a reliable manufacturing base in Germany amid intense international competition.
Daiichi Sankyo employs approximately 3,300 people.
